The laboratory of Dr. Jiaoyang Jiang at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for a fully funded postdoctoral research associate position in the fields of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. The successful candidate will participate in the development of novel chemical probes targeting glycosylation-related pathways implicated in cancer and neurological disorders.

Position Requirements:
– Recent PhD in medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, or organic synthesis
– High motivation and productivity
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Position Duties:
– Apply high-throughput screening, virtual screening, and structure-based rational design to identify initial hits
– Utilize organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, and molecular modeling techniques to optimize compound properties for biological studies in disease models
– Collaborate with experts in various research areas within and outside of UW-Madison
– Opportunity to acquire a broad range of skills and knowledge
