About Us

GlycoData, aims to design a new data storage and management platform where researchers within and outside the GlycoMIP community can make both structured and unstructured data available for researchers worldwide. This platform consists of :

• 1) the frontend web interface for data access, including data searching, uploading, and downloading;
• 2) the backend database for data collection, storage, and management;
• 3) scientific tools for data conversion.

The benefits of this data management framework include increasing the users’ research visibility and impact, promoting new data generation and sharing, ensuring users have access to the latest data, facilitating new collaboration opportunities between the data users and creators, and providing education and training resources for data users. Overall, this fast-access and user-friendly data management framework is of great significance as it can accelerate the design of glycomaterials.
